UBS Global Asset Management has named the successor to its global head of alternative and quantitative investments who will retire at the end of this month.

Bill Ferri has been appointed global head of the alternatives and quantitatives team with immediate effect, according to a statement from the firm. He succeeds Joe Scoby, who is retiring on June 30 after 23 years with the firm.
