UBS Warburg has hired two managing directors to its US industrial corporate finance practice, continuing its push into the US.
Matthew Gourlay joins the bank from Gleacher & Co, the investment banking and asset management firm, where he was vice-chairman and established the firm's leveraged finance corporate finance effort. In his new role at UBS Warburg, he will focus on leveraged finance for industrial companies. While at Gleacher & Co, Gourlay founded Midway Capital Partners, a fixed income asset management business with the Pritzker Organisation.
