Chris Melendes, a former top-ranked European analyst at Morgan Stanley, has left the bank to join the US credit research team at UBS Warburg.

Melendes was previously part of the European credit analyst team at Morgan Stanley in London, where he focused on the energy and utility sectors. He was rated number one in his sectors in a poll of European credit analysts by Credit magazine in 2001.
