UBS gets Credit Suisse executive for top Swiss post

UBS Friday said it has put Lukas Gaehwiler in charge of its Swiss operations, a move indicating the banking giant may be regaining its ability to attract key bankers.

Gaehwiler, born in 1965, will join UBS's group executive board. He spent most of his working career at UBS's cross-town rival Credit Suisse Group, most recently as chief credit officer of its private banking division.
