UK and EU Brexit talks have stalled again – here’s why

Negotiations about a future trade treaty between the UK and the European Union look stalled after the EU’s rejection of a British request to grant UK truckers wide-ranging access to Europe, similar to what they enjoyed when the country was still a member of the Union.

- London would like British truckers to still be able to pick up and drop off goods both inside EU countries, and between them. Brussels considers the proposal “fundamentally unbalanced,” according to several media reports.
