UK consumers in the dark over savings - survey

UK consumers are still in the dark when it comes to tax efficient savings and investment options, according to a survey by Norwich Union International.

Just a month after Chancellor Gordon Brown announced in the Budget that the tax allowances for maxi and mini ISAs will remain at £7,000 and £3,000 respectively, Norwich Union has shown that over half of those quizzed believes that PEPs and Tessas are still available.
