Investors have displayed renewed appetite for UK equity funds in recent weeks, with the reduced risk of a no-deal Brexit and the increased likelihood of a Conservative majority in the upcoming general election spurring healthy net inflows since mid-October.

According to data from EPFR, funds that invest in UK companies have gathered a net $3.7bn over the past seven weeks — the longest uninterrupted period of net inflows since investors began to pull money from UK equity funds following the Brexit referendum in June 2016.
