UK firms to face tougher rules after Brexit

UK businesses should prepare for a "race to the top in global standards" once the UK leaves its largest trading partner, according to David Davis, the Secretary of State for Exiting the EU.

Davis will tell European business leaders today that fears of Brexit leading to a "dystopian", "Anglo-Saxon race to the bottom" are "based on nothing, not history, not intention, nor interest".
