Assets managed by the UK’s investment sector grew to more than £9tn in 2023, marking a bounce back from the previous year when they posted a historic drop.

According to the Investment Association’s annual investment management survey — the trade body’s annual assessment of the state of the UK industry — assets overseen by members grew 3% last year to reach £9.1tn.
