UK institutional investors look set to increase their investments in commercial property following outperformance from the sector last year, according to chartered surveyors Gerald Eve.

In the Caps pooled fund survey, property showed a 12.3% positive return last year against -3.1% for mixed funds excluding property. European equity funds rose 3.0%, UK equities fell 5.1% and international bond funds secured plus 3.6%.
