UK local authority tenders consultancy mandate

The £1.2bn (€ 2.0m) Hertfordshire County Council Pension Scheme has put to tender an investment consultancy mandate, prompted by Paul Myners' recommendations to separate the role of actuary and consultant.

The UK local authority, which uses Hymans Robertson as its actuary and as its consultant when required, has decided to now separate the two roles, under a best practise regime as prompted by Myners, the ex-chairman of Gartmore Investment Managers.
