UK markets must develop “an insurgent and celebrated entrepreneurial mindset” to stand any chance of meeting the country’s growth goals, according to a group of City grandees.

A report from the Capital Markets Industry Taskforce, which features some of the Square Mile’s leading names, said policymakers must be “risk on” to deliver an estimated £1tn of additional investment that will be needed to secure long-term growth.
