UK national pension fund wants ideas for investing in private credit

The UK public pension fund Nest has issued a call to the managers of private credit funds, asking for “innovative” ideas for how to get its six million small savers invested in off-market debt.

The initiative is significant, as new-style defined contribution pension funds — of which Nest is one of the largest examples — struggle to invest in most private credit funds.
