UK prime minister warns of ‘second wave’ across Europe

Boris Johnson said the UK government must take 'swift and decisive action'

The UK’s prime minister has warned that signs of a “second wave” are beginning to emerge across Europe,  as he defended his government’s decision to change its travel guidance on Spain.

Boris Johnson said on 28 July that the government must take “swift and decisive action” to tackle the risk of when the virus starts “to bubble up again”.
