British stocks could fall as much as 25% if the country’s politicians reject the UK government’s proposed deal to leave the EU and there is a disorderly exit from the bloc, according to MSCI, the world’s biggest provider of investment indices.

UK politicians had been set to vote on the Brexit package on Tuesday but Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed on Monday she had postponed the crucial vote amid widespread opposition to her deal.
