UK unions to force disclosure of fund managers' voting records

The Trades Union Congress is attempting to make it mandatory for fund managers in the UK to reveal how they voted on a number of controversial company issues last year.

It is hoping that this will allow union pension fund trustees to better assess the corporate governance track record of the firms they hire to manage their schemes' assets.
