Ukrainian companies eye London listings

The London Stock Exchange has stepped up marketing efforts in Ukraine, where 80 companies have announced flotation plans, after two-thirds of initial public offerings from Russia and the former Soviet states took place on the UK exchange or its junior Alternative Investment Market last year.

There were a total of 33 listings by companies from the former Soviet states last year and 22 of those were either on the LSE or Aim, according to data from The PBN Company, a strategic communications company focused on the region.
