Ultra-high net worth individuals are bullish towards commodities and global long-only equities, according to a survey by the New York-based Institute for Private Investors.
The IPI polled its 344 members, half of whom said they plan to increase their investments in commodities and global long-only equity. One in five of those surveyed have invested 50% or more of their overall portfolio outside of the US, way up from the 12% who did so in 2007.
