Unigestion continues Brexit-defying build-out in London

Swiss asset management firm bolsters private equity team with addition of two investment managers

Unigestion, a Swiss asset management firm, has bolstered its private equity team in London with the addition of two investment managers – choosing to recruit in London despite fears of a “Brexodus” among the financial community in the UK.

The firm has hired Joana Castro from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where she was a principal focusing on private equity fund investments and co-investments. Before that, she was an M&A analyst at Goldman Sachs.
