Unilever pension fund outsources its administration

Unilever, the general goods giant, has hived off the administration of its £3.1bn (€4.5bn) UK pension fund, as schemes look to save costs and focus on their principal objectives of meeting pension payments.

The Unilever fund has outsourced the adminstration to investment consultants Hewitt, Bacon & Woodrow.
