Uno-e and First-e complete merger agreement

In a bid to create the world's first truly global internet financial services provider, Uno-e and First-e have merged to create UnoFirst Group, in a deal valued at €1.58bn.

First-e was set up by Enba, a financial services company incubator based in Dublin which was formed in 1998. Uno-e was owned by Spain's Terra Networks and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA).
