US ETF execs plot future growth

Providers this week outlined their predictions for 2014, including more factor-based and alternative products, opportunities in fixed income and partnerships

Executives from the exchange-traded funds industry have outlined their predictions for the sector, saying that as ETFs become more mainstream, they will be used in increasingly diverse ways.

Speaking at the ETFs.com exchange-traded fund industry conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Monday, exchange-traded fund providers said 2014 would bring more factor-based and alternative products, opportunities in fixed income and partnerships.
