US pipeline lacks fresh deal supply

Nearly two thirds of equity deals in the US pipeline are more than three months old, indicating that fresh supply has slowed, according to a report from Merrill Lynch.

The Securities and Exchange Commission, the US regulator, has $37bn (€30bn) worth of equity new issues on file, down from $40bn at the end of the second quarter, according to the US bank.
