Vanguard increased headcount at its European business by more than 25% last year, as the low-cost US asset manager continues to expand in the region.

Accounts for Vanguard Asset Services filed with Companies House last week show the asset manager employed 509 people across its European business at the end of 2018, up from 404 the previous year.
