Charles Lin, an executive who oversaw Vanguard Group’s expansion in China and recently served as head of Asia, has left the world’s second-largest asset manager.

Axel Lomholt, the group’s head of product for Asia and a former executive at BlackRock, will be the interim head of Asia as the company conducts an executive search, said a spokeswoman at Vanguard.
