Ex-Pimco and Schroders equity chief joins $140bn Asia manager

Eastspring Investments appoints well-known City fund manager to invest across asset classes in the region

Virginie Maisonneuve, the former head of equities investing at Schroders and Pimco, has taken the top investment role at a $140 billion Asian asset manager.

Maisonneuve has been appointed as chief investment officer at Eastspring Investments, owned by Prudential, according to a November 14 statement.
