Investors to vote blind in Volkswagen AGM

Deutsche Bank, the carmaker's local custodian bank, has brought forward a vote on motions for the carmaker’s annual general meeting because of the Easter period – although this will mean shareholders will be unable to vote on any counter-motions

Deutsche Bank, the local custodian bank of Volkswagen, has brought forward a vote on motions for the carmaker’s annual general meeting because of the Easter holiday period, although this will mean shareholders will be unable to vote on any counter-motions, attracting the ire of corporate governance body Manifest.

Voters who are unable to attend the AGM in Germany on May 3 have been told by local custodian Deutsche Bank to send their voting decision via post by 08.00 Tuesday.
