How last year’s Wall Street bonuses compare to the median wage

On Wall Street, bonuses never sleep. Since 1985, they have soared 890%, seven times the rise in the federal minimum wage, MarketWatch reports.

The average Wall Street bonus rose 1% to $138,210 last year, but fell 15% the year before, more than twice the median US household annual income of $55,775.
