Wall Street investment banks are trying to grab market share from Deutsche Bank on its home turf by highlighting the German lender’s problems in their client presentations.

Christian Sewing, Deutsche Bank’s chief executive, is under pressure to convince frustrated investors that his turnaround strategy for the bank is working. Deutsche’s shares plummeted to an all-time low after its merger talks failed with fellow German lender Commerzbank.
