Wallenberg's EQT raises €2.5bn in six months

EQT, the Wallenberg family-backed mid-market buy-out firm which focuses on the Nordic and German markets, has held a €2.5bn ($3bn) final close on its fourth fund six months after launch and €500m above target.

Investor, Sweden's largest investment holding company in which the Wallenberg family has a 44% stake, sponsored the fund with a €500m cornerstone commitment.
