Lisa Osofsky, director of the Serious Fraud Office and the UK’s most senior anti-corruption official, has vowed to ramp up hiring and slash the time it takes to prosecute City crime.

Speaking to FinancialNews, Osofsky outlined her vision for the agency after nearly two years at the helm. The SFO, which investigates financial misconduct and other white-collar crime in the UK, is on the hunt for graduates in computer forensics and IT to help it prosecute wrongdoers faster, after criticism of the glacial pace of City justice.
