Warburg Dillon Read has changed its name to UBS Warburg, reflecting the completion of the integration process following the merger between Union Bank of Switzerland and Swiss Bank Corporation more than two years ago.

In January 1998, Swiss banks UBS and SBC merged, with the combined London-based investment banking operation known as Warburg Dillon Read.
