Watson Wyatt, the global consultancy, has hired Helen Dowsey as a senior consultant in its defined contribution pension business. The addition comes as senior Watson consultant Peter Eyre exits to join rival Mercer Human Resource Consulting.

Dowsey joins from Winterthur, the Swiss insurance firm controlled by Credit Suisse Group, where she was communications and relationships manager. Before that, she worked in a similar role at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
