Watson Wyatt downplays potential US legal action

Watson Wyatt has played down reports that a US company is considering legal action against it over the quality of its advice, saying it has addressed all the company's concerns.

Sygen, a US animal-breeding company formerly known as the Pig Improvement Company (PIC), used Watson Wyatt to advise the pension fund of Dalgety, the pet food firm that became Sygen after it was broken up in the late 1990s.
