Watson Wyatt has hired a senior investment consultant from rival PSolve in a move that takes its investment strategy team, which advises pension funds on risk management and structured products, to 50 staff.

Philip Tindall, a principal at PSolve Asset Solutions, will join Watson Wyatt in January. He joined PSolve from the IBM retirement funds, where he was head of the investment team.
