Watson Wyatt's managers outperform in major asset classes

Fund managers recommended to clients by Watson Wyatt, the global investment consultancy, have outperformed in all but one asset class over the three years to the end of 2002.

It is the first time Watson Wyatt has revealed the performance of its recommended fund managers. Out of its 13 portfolios, 12 beat their benchmarks before fees. The portfolios comprise an average of four fund managers that the firm recommended to its clients and cover all the major asset classes including equities, bonds and property.
