Many wealthy individuals in the UK are expected to consider moving abroad after the UK government moved to raise the top tax rate to 50% for those earning above £150,000.

Leonie Kerswill, a tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, said: "This new tax rate will come as a shock to many wealthy individuals and certainly prompt some to move abroad."
