Weavering hedge fund founder found guilty of fraud

The conviction of hedge fund manager Magnus Peterson on Monday marks a winning end to a long-running probe by the UK’s Serious Fraud Office.

In the UK's first prominent hedge fund manager conviction since the credit crisis, a jury found the Swedish financier who ran Weavering Macro Fund guilty on eight counts of fraud, forgery, false accounting and fraudulent trading.
