Wellington Partners, the Munich-based venture capital company, has invested €2.5m ($2.2m) in Truck24, a German wireless technology firm, expanding Wellington's interests in the wireless area.

Jörg Überla, a partner at Wellington Partners, said that Truck24 initially had raised financing from business angels and then went into liquidation, but had been relaunched with a new management team at an attractive valuation.
