Wells Fargo appoints chief auditor

Wells Fargo has appointed David Julian as chief auditor. Julian will report to the audit and examination committee of the board and to chief executive John Stumpf. He also joins the company's operating committee. He replaces Kevin McCabe, chief auditor since 2002, who will retire on June 30. Julian was previously chief auditor at Wachovia prior to its merger with Wells Fargo. He was most recently head of corporate credit services at Wells Fargo.
