Westpac brings in RBS's Hartzer in restructuring

Australian bank Westpac has created two new divisions as part of a restructuring plan that has brought big changes to its management team. Brian Hartzer, RBS's chief executive of UK retail, wealth and Ulster bank, has joined Westpac to lead the Australian Financial Services division, which includes the bank's retail and business banking, St. George Banking Group, BT Financial Group and banking products and risk management.

John Arthur, Westpac's group chief operating officer will lead the bank's new group services division, which includes its technology, banking operations, property services and legal work.
