Wheatley moves to Hong Kong

Martin Wheatley, the former deputy chief executive of the London Stock Exchange, has resurfaced in a senior role at the Hong Kong market regulator.

Wheatley stepped down from the LSE last year, apparently after a disagreement with Clara Furse, chief executive, over strategy and, in particular, a potential co-operation agreement or merger with Deutsche Börse.
