Finance tops PwC’s pay inequality list, and it’s likely to take years for the gap to be closed

Women working in financial services face a greater pay gap from their male colleagues than in any other UK industry, data from PwC has shown.

Banks, asset managers and other finance companies pay their female staff an average of 34% less than than men working in the same company, according to PwC’s annual Women in Work Index.
