Woodford fund to pay £183m to loss-hit investors

Administrator Link fails to give timeline for sale of remaining assets in the fund

Investors in Neil Woodford’s flagship fund will get some more of their money back at the end of this month when Link Fund Solutions, which is winding down the funds, releases a third chunk of capital.

Link will pay an estimated £183m to investors on 26 August, the company said in a statement. This brings the total sum that has been returned to investors since the winding up began to £2.5bn.
