Woodford ups fundraising cap on second fund

It seems investors can't get enough of Neil Woodford, the UK's most high-profile fund manager. His firm said today it is raising the fundraising limit on his second fund, launched in early February, after a flood of interest.

The Woodford Patient Capital Trust, which invests in early-stage, often unlisted growth companies, particularly in pharmaceuticals, was launched with an initial fundraising target of £200 million and leeway to take it up to £500 million.
