Woodford’s fund suspension extended for up to another month

The company that administers the stricken fund says it expects to provide another update on the suspension before July 29

The company that administers Neil Woodford’s Equity Income fund has said it will extend the fund’s trading freeze, but held open the possibility that it might reopen before the next deadline on July 29.

Link Fund Solutions, which acts as the fund’s authorised corporate director, said in a statement on July 1 that “it remains in the best interests of all investors in the fund to continue the suspension of the issue, cancellation, sale and redemption of shares”.
