World Economic Forum to hold annual meeting in Lucerne next year

Davos in January gives way for Lucerne in May as WEF adapts to coronavirus

The World Economic Forum plans to hold its annual meeting in Lucerne in Switzerland in May next year, having abandoned its usual haunt in the Swiss ski resort of Davos next January because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting of global leaders from the fields of politics, business and finance will now take place on 18-21 May in Lucerne-Buergenstock, the organisers said.
