Swiss insurer Zurich is awarding paid time off for its UK employees who are parents and carers in a move to help them grapple with homeschooling during the country's third lockdown.

The latest lockdown, which took effect on 6 January, has forced all schools to close with provision only permitted for vulnerable children and those with special education needs.
